As a Table Host, you reserve a table and commit to filling it with 8 guests. The cost for the table is $200 (8 tickets x $25 each). The letter below explains the role of the Table Host in more detail.

Dear Table Host,
Thank you for your willingness to be a Table Host! As a table host you have already made a considerable financial gift to this ministry and we thank you for helping to make this event a reality.

Table hosts are the best! You get to fill your table (seats 8) with friends, coworkers, and community members.  When inviting others to join your table we'd like to recommend seeking out those individuals who are interested in hearing more about the ministries of The Bridge. As you know, The Bridge focuses on youth, especially youth in vulnerable places of life, within the context of missional living at neighborhood centers, weekly Bible studies, activities, holistic care, and empowerment through projects such as the Cultivate Training Garden and Endless Sea Coffee Roasting. This banquet is an important fundraising event for The Bridge and will help to sustain its presence in Storm Lake over the next year.

Additionally, please let your guests know about the events of the evening. Following a nice meal, we will have a time to check out the various programs, outbid your neighbor at the silent auction, and look toward the future with a new theme and focus for the next year. To help fund the continued work of this ministry and the proposed plans for 2017, we will have an opportunity to give an offering. The evening will conclude between 8:45 – 9:00pm.

October 23 – Please RSVP on the banquet website by submitting the names of your guests, or you can contact Hannah at banquet@thebridgeofstormlake.com.  Also, please make us aware of any guests who are requesting a vegetarian or gluten-free option for dinner.  

October 24-27 – The Table Host Coordinators will touch base with you and confirm your table and guests.

October 28 – You will need to please call your guests and remind them of the banquet time and location. If there are any last minute changes to the guest list or cancellations please let us know ASAP. Our final headcount has to be in October 31, so we appreciate your help in getting reservations in.


Tables will be set up in the hallway as you enter the banquet for check-in. After checking in, feel free to find your table and to look through our many silent auction items and program stations set up around the perimeter of the banquet room. Also, there will be a basket on each table with offering envelopes and pledge cards. Simply make these known to your guests, but don’t feel obligated to hand them out or collect from your guests.

*If you are unable to attend but would like to donate a table reservation, we would sincerely appreciate your generosity. We always have a number of tables for youth and special guests that are not covered by a host’s donation. Your contribution makes it possible for these individuals to attend and participate in the program.

Again, we sincerely thank you for your role in this event.  Please join us in praying that this event provides the necessary funds to continue this work in the coming years. We especially want this year’s banquet to be a time of praise and reflection for God’s faithfulness over the past year – as well as a special time to share about the exciting plans, changes, and goals for 2017!
